Scarves!
John loves going into my drawer where I keep all my scarves. He pulls them all out, and then takes 1, 2 or 3 and will walk around with them, carrying them like they are his blankies.

Tonight was the first Tunes at Twilight of the year. It was John’s first time attending (not counting when he was only a month or 2 old and we went but left cause it was too loud). He had so much fun and we stayed much longer than anticipated. That little boy of ours certainly isn’t shy. He was off and exploring everything and everyone around us. What a nice night! Can’t wait for next Thursday!

We spent the weekend in Washington, DC visiting friends. These were the only pictures I took. I realized once I got there that I forgot my memory card. On Saturday we went to the zoo which was great, but not sure how much John liked it. He was very tired (as you can see in the picture on the right) because he didn’t nap all day! Sunday we went to brunch and walked around the city. There was an awesome playground right by Chad and Mindi’s that we played at both days. He loved the teeter totter and going down the slide. It’s so nice to live so close to such a great city!

I used my ergo baby carrier with John on my back for the first time today. I haven’t done it yet since he’s been bigger because the stroller always seems easier. But today we were walking with a friend and her dog and it seemed like too much to have 2 dogs and a stroller on the sidewalk. So on my back he went and he loved it!! A whole new perspective. We will definitely be using it more often!
